Drawing Your Life, by Michael Nobbs
Creativity is not about masterpieces and this book acknowledges that. Through prompts to observe and record the things and objects around you, you will develop your observing skills and being present in the moment.
My favorite thing about this book is that it is not precious. It's a way to make mistakes, try new things, and engage in the observation and creative process without pressure. It's not only encouraging, but also a great activity to do together with others. You can make the activity as long or as short as you'd like. Creativity and creating doesn't have to be complicated.
